Be present, O merciful God,
and protect us through the silent hours of this night, so that we who are wearied
by the changes and chances of this fleeting world,
may repose upon thy eternal changelessness;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
O Lord,
who by triumphing over the powers of darkness
didst prepare our place in the new Jerusalem;
grant us, who have this day given thanks for thy resurrection, to praise thee in that city, whereof thou art the light;
where with the Father and the Holy Ghost
thou livest and reignest
one God, world without end. Amen.
