Psalm 4
1 Hear me when I call, O God of my 1 righteousness : thou hast set me at liberty when I was in trouble;
have mercy upon me, and hearken 1 unto my prayer.
2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye blaspheme mine 1 honour :
and have such pleasure in vanity, and seek 1 after leasing?
3 Know this also, that the Lord hath chosen to himself the man that is 1 godly :
when I call upon the Lord, 1 he will hear me.
4 Stand in awe, and 1 sin not :
commune with your own heart, and in your 1 chamber, and be still.
5 Offer the sacrifice of 1 righteousness :
and put your 1 trust in the Lord.
6 There be many that 1 say :
Who will 1 shew us any good?
7 Lord, lift thou 1 up :
the light of thy counten1ance upon us.
8 Thou hast put gladness in my 1 heart :
since the time that their corn, and 1 wine, and oil increased.
9 I will lay me down in peace, and take my 1 rest :
for it is thou, Lord, only, that makest me 1 dwell in safety.
