            THIS WONDERFUL WORLD we live in is not as God meant it to be;
he wanted to see his children
all happy, healthy and free. But some of the world we live in,
the earth, the air and the sea, we have not yet learnt to care for,
as God once meant it to be.
All people on earth are neighbours, their brothers and sisters are we;
Lord, help us to make our planet what you have meant it to be;
to work for a world much fairer, with children happy and free,
of justice and peace and plenty, as you have meant it to be.
