Performance Notes
• ‘Maranatha’ is an Aramaic word used by early Christians meaning: Our Lord, come!
• The irregular time signature may cause some confusion. Ensure that the melody flows seamlessly through the time changes.
• Each appearance of the refrain ‘Maranatha’ needs to be majestic in character.
• The triptlets will need to be as exact as possible as all three parts move simultaneously.
• If the tempo is too slow the triplets will be more difficult to sing.
• Identify the breathing points carefully so that the meaning of the text is not obscured.
