The Lord’s Prayer
Let us commit ourselves, as God’s Church to live God’s life in God’s World.
As forgiving and forgiven people let us be absorbed into the heart of God.
As dependent creatures may the praying of this prayer free us from self to recognise God’s sustaining bounty.
Contemporary
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those
who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours
now and for ever.
Amen.
Traditional

as we forgive those who trespass against us.
