The Weekly Standards Chart can be used to reinforce your expectation of high standards. It is particularly helpful for use with children's choirs. Each week a standard is awarded to every singer, taking into consideration attendance, behaviour and performance. If a singer is not able to attend through ill-health or otherwise, they cannot earn a standard. The standard is awarded each week by the choir trainer in consultation with the Team Leader and the Head Chorister, thereby increasing the sense of authority and responsibility of the leaders of the choir.
