Meirion Wynn Jones was educated at Wells Cathedral School and the Royal Academy of Music, where his teachers included Nicholas Danby and Naji Hakim. A former Organ Scholar of Westminster Abbey and Winchester Cathedral, and organist at Brecon and Liverpool Metropolitan cathedrals, he now pursues a freelance career as a composer, organist and teacher. Awarded the National Eisteddfod’s Tlws y Cerddor (Musician’s Medal) for composition in 2011, Meirion’s music is published both in the UK and the USA.
Toby Young
Toby is a composer whose work explores the boundaries between pop and classical music. Since winning the Guardian/BBC Proms Young Composer of
the Year (2006) and the International ABRSM Composition Competition (2009), Toby’s music has been performed by renowned ensembles including the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Academy of Ancient Music, London Mozart Players, and the choirs of King’s College Cambridge, New College Oxford, and Westminster Abbey. He has also written and co-written for numerous pop artists including the Rolling Stones, Chase & Status and Duran Duran.
