Chirk Castle Collection
Upon the rediscovery of the music manuscripts of Chirk Castle (near Wrexham) in 1969, it was found that some twenty works were wholly unique to the collection and that it represented the sole complete source for several more. Cathedral Press are proud to announce the publication of a number of these works for the first time. A partnership between Hyperion Records and the Brabant Ensemble has already resulted in an acclaimed CD release of the music of the Castle manuscripts.
